Mark Pi`s China Gate in Columbus

Always enjoy the food, service and atmosphere at Mark Pi's. There's a group of us that make it our New Year's Eve dinner experience!

The place was completely empty when we went, so it was like a romantic date. The waiter helped us and was patient when we were eating, and was on high alert to make sure we were taken care of. Prices were fair for the plates of food were gigantic! 10/10, would recommend and obviously eat again!

Decent food. Good ambience. Great service. The Sunday buffets are the best. Good for large groups.

Very attentive service during Sunday buffet. As might be expectsd, food is better from the menu than from the steam table.

If you want a Chinese meal in Columbus, this is the place to go. Food is excellent. The service is fast. The prices are reasonable. Been here at least 6 times. I love it.

Great atmosphere! Our service was very nice. The food is good. We like the sechzuan and hunan spiciness! The buffet has a good variety of meats and vegetable entrees. I look forward to dining here again.

Great food, as always! Good with requests for changes in dishes. But slower service than what is typical for this place.

Pretty good Asian cuisine. Very clean, aesthetic and the food is great. The Buffet on Sundays is exceptional. Not very big, but very fresh and comfortable.

I have eaten here twice and got sick both times......there will not be a 3rd

This is my go-to place for good Chinese food. I always get the pork fried rice. And I like the teriyaki chicken. I mostly order takeout from this place so I haven’t actually visited in a long time. But I will buy from here again and would recommend

Not impressed at all. The Sunday buffet is a joke. Felt like a catered event instead of a restaurant. Forget trying to get a refill, in the few drink options that they do have. The food was decent so I'm giving 2 stars, but DEFINITELY not worth the $35 (for two people) it cost. Will NOT return.

Absolutely wonderful! The space is well decorated and the music is very peaceful. The food was delicious! We had shrimp toast and hot and sour soup as an appetizer (not pictured) as well as the Mark Pis Chicken with white rice and the Triple Delicacy with fried rice.

Friendly staff, fair pricing, excellent quality and selection of food. In the area for the summer and you have gained a new repeat customer!

Food is always good but they were extremely short staffed. Order of 6 potstickers was only 5. Didn't have the heart to complain to the poor waiter.

It's a pretty nice place for lunch and dinner in town. Their service is really good and can accommodate larger groups as well which makes it a great place for going away lunches at work. Lots of vegetarian options as well! I would definitely recommend trying the kung pao vegetable plate!

Best place to get Chinese food in Indiana. Hands down.Unfortunately, the one in Greenwood closed down years ago. My family & I drive an hour to eat at this location because it's so good.Couldn't be happier!Try the Sunday Buffet!

I love Mark Pi's chichen it is delicious and the egg drop soup the best i have ever had. This is my favorite place to eat in Columbus.

This is a wonderful Chinese restaurant. Have been here many times and have always had excellent food and excellent service. Prices are a comparable to other of the nicer restaurants.

A special place for me and my wife. We love the atmosphere and food. We recommend this place for a romantic place for dinner.

BEST CHINESE PLACE IN COLUMBUS!!!! Super friendly staff, FANTASTIC food, and the spicy mustard is to die for!! Can't wait to go back! The best spring rolls I ever had!

It is ok can be very good but the service is not good

We come once every few months or so for the Sunday lunch buffet and will happily continue to do so. But if you're only coming for the buffet you're missing out on so many great things on the menu. The prices are very reasonable for what you're receiving.

Good ambience. Great soup. Could do better on the main course. Vegetarian options available.

Went to the Sunday buffet. Food was literally "soggy/soft" due to over cooking and over stirring. Poor selection and limited service due to what appeared to be short staffed. Use to like Mark Pi's but the quality of the food has continued to decline. Won't be back.

Between 3 and 4 stars. Good portions, nice atmosphere, good sauces, ok service. Food comes out quickly and quality is consistent. Sauces on the sweeter side. Soups could be more flavorful.

I love the food here. They have good options for vegetarians too. The lunch buffet is a good options. The variety in desserts is great. Good service too.

This is usually a reasonable place to eat. Not as fancy as some, but the food quality is great try the Sunday buffet. 😁 today's trip was a little off. Our drinks where forgotten and refills scarce.

This location is very good. Clean, fresh, and priced very well. Sunday brunch buffets are cheap and good here. A little cramped when busy, but for a town sorely lacking needed Asian cultured restaurants, Mark Pis provides a very nice experience.

The food is great and our server was pleasant and efficient. The lady running the place however was in quite the huff. She greeted us with a gruff "hold on", dressed down staff and buzzed around the place muttering like she was only one doing anything. The saving grace was the men actually waiting tables were doing a great job and were very friendly anyway!

I love Mark Pi’s it has been around since I was a kid. The food is still really good but not quite as good the last few times as it used to be and I heard maybe they lost a family member that was the chef for many years since they opened. Still very good and worth a the visit!

I love this place I moved away 2years ago we used to eat there every Wednesday with my dad for 4 years. I love it and I got a chance to meet the owner Mr. Andrew he is so sweet and he cares so mutch about his customers. They are the nice's people ever. If I were you I would eat there anytime they are opened 7 days a week till 10:30. So go get some.

Excellent, we don't eat here often enough, but it is always very good and good service?

Normally the food is awesome but not today it tastes and looked like left over or recycled food.

Food was just okay. I LOVED the Greenwood location off of Main Street before they closed. The experience I had in Columbus couldn't compare. I will probably not return which makes me sad because I really miss Mark Pi's China Gate of Greenwood.

I will come here every chance I get. The Sunday buffet is great, servers are mostly kind and quick. I'd jump off a roof for their house lomein (excuse my spelling). 11/10 would recommend. Only reason I'm giving one less star is because they can get pretty busy, especially Sunday but that's to be expected, and prices can be a little steep for groups. Otherwise I've been here several times and have no complaints.
